Created to sink deep into the consciousness like coffins sink into the tomb: a soundtrack for a fictitious film noir. The listener witnesses a fatal story of inevitable doom, an insidious labyrinth of fateful incidents, looming danger and inner turmoil which however also evokes redeeming august virtues. Foreboding moods of eerie scenes in smoky twilight, thrilling scenes unveiling tragic affairs, menacing moments reaching a visceral intensity. Blood-curdling noise eruptions bear witness to merciless deeds. Yet there's also a transcending liberating power which brings equilibrium.

There are ominous and reflective electroacoustic ambiances, featuring also accomplices, Swiss violinist Georges-Emmanuel Schneider on different violin types, and US vocalist Maria Estrella Aggabao, providing haunting chants for deeply soothing contrasts carrying the album to a grand finale.
